The Universe Isn't Limited. Why Are You? - What's Up Wednesday, June 11, 2025

You read that right! Why choose when you can have everything? No, this isn't talking about choice as in you make a choice and create your future, but rather the idea that so many believe...either/or.

We think if we choose one thing, then we can't choose the next thing. We believe once we've chosen the decision is final and we're stuck on that path, but is that actually true?

On more than one occasion, in the last few months, I've made choices and then was forced to look at all the ideas I had. For example, driving to my office one morning for therapy, I was kind of daydreaming and thinking about my trip to Scotland in August, how I could travel an extra week in Europe and do classes, BUT I couldn't do it. Now, everything that came after that was a lie.

People rely on me too much, I can't afford it, that's going to double my price, I'd have to find a host, what if nobody chooses the classes, what's my boyfriend going to think? I was so quick to squash something that would be absolutely amazing to do based on my immediate thoughts. The idea that I've already chosen to be a therapist, where to spend my money/budget, and my relationship. I couldn't possibly choose something that puts any of that at risk. Why not?

How many times do we look at what we have and then refuse to choose the next step because of the fear that we might lose something? Or the fear of being judged? How about not being able to handle something?

The truth is the Universe is a magnanimous source. It has more than enough to provide, and it does so without discrimination of who you are. The question is...are you asking? If you are asking, are you receiving? In my case, I was constantly asking, and then when it came time to choose something, I refused the possibility for what I had already chosen.

But why choose when you can have everything?
